Uk Honeymoon..but Where To?

DEAR ,

extend to each of you my warmest wishes for a happy 2010, making my own the words of an ancient Gaelic blessing: May the road

get to meet you. May the wind be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rain fall lightly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God keep you in the palm of his hand.

The photo of the family home from which I write, remember that in the year about to begin, the flowers will bloom again and life will triumph over all the death threats.

Inside Of My Ankle Hurts

DEAR ,

quesrto I send message to Moose Bel Colle, my hometown, where he will spend a few days. The poem is
Ungheretti fits well to the ways in which to spend my parents' house those days. Loved the comment by Gianfranco Ravasi.

Tomorrow, I'll add a particular wish.

"I do not want to step into a maze of streets. I'm so tired shoulders. Let me as something lying in a corner and forgotten. Here you hear nothing but the heat and I'm good with the four somersaults smoke of the fire. "

There are so many emotions that give rise to these lines. I'd like to emphasize only two. The first is right in that beautiful image of the 'tangle of streets "and evokes the poet who refuses to go. Christmas is, in fact, a party which, unfortunately, turn on the lights over the hearts of the roads. Yet we should get out of the same "hot good" of the house to discover that, in addition to opulence of the windows, there is so much fatigue, loneliness and misery that could bring comfort.
But it is also true that Christmas is a celebration of intimacy. And here enters the second image, that of 'four somersaults "smoke of the hearth. And 'just' the warm good, "the simplicity of the little things, feeling neglected, daily life and family. We are often crossed by a sudden weariness that is not the body but the soul. It comes from too much to do, you turn, from the shallowness and banality. You need to pause in silence to appease hearts and to pray, to find the ultimate truth of life and profound, the meaning of existence. And 'this is our Christmas, the rebirth of the spirit.

Milena Velba And Miosotis

DEAR,

At the end of 2009, I think nice send a brief reflection on time. EC proposes a Church Father, St. John Chrysostom :

There are two categories of people: the children of Cronos and children of cairòs.

Sons of Kronos are those who live as long as something repetitive and exhausting: all are the same minute, every hour is passive acceptance. Are those who live with anxiety time, in an attitude of constant discomfort and create discomfort.

cairos The children of those who are living as long as new, living in creativity, they know actually take their existence as something repetitive or tiring; for them every moment is like a joyful discovery, every day is different from another, every moment has something new. Time is seen as a gift, as an event of God

If the children of Cronos nothing ever happens, for the children of cairos time is a continuous manifestation of the Lord.

Love,

Angelo

Hole Drivers License Club

Dear,

not think that has struck ... The long hiatus is due to several factors. Not least, the trip to Brazzaville, capital of the Republic of Congo. I was in that city from 30 November 8 December. I gave a course of 30 hours to a group of 60 participants, more than a dozen nuns and priests, from the six dioceses in the country. Four sisters in Europe. The initiative was promoted by the Union of Superiors Major of the Congo. It was a very nice experience, which has awakened in me a longing for the African continent, where is the great thirst to learn and there are few resources. Once again I am attached to the people, materially poor but rich in human values and faith. I am determined to continue my collaboration. Since my arrival until noon of December 6, I was in the House of Jesuit spirituality, the remaining day and a half I spent visiting the capital, other religious communities, including the Sisters of Mother Teresa, some families of sick people, a great hospital, but also has to contemplate the majestic Congo River, which divides the two Congo republics.
contact with the sisters who attended the course has given me grade admiration. Many of them work in remote places, challenging material deprivation of all kinds, rich in love for the sick and the poor.

The memory of the trip coninua to occupy my mind and my heart ...

I greet with affection.

Neck Pain One Side Shooting Head

DEAR,

ends today 's liturgical year. Next Sunday, with Advent, we will begin another. For me, the end of a period of time is always an invitation to a debate that usually focuses on the question: how did you spend the day that the Lord has given you? Today, to find an answer, I compare myself with this beautiful text by G. Ravasi, I propose to you, especially you, Antonio, whom I thank for the nice message.

One of the first people who came to ask advice just ordered a priest was an old lady said: 'I prayed incessantly for fourteen years and I never felt the presence of God. " Then I said, "allowed him to utter even a word?". He replied: "I have spoken to me all the time: Is not this prayer? ".

To recount this episode in his book, Anthony Bloom, a Metropolitan of the Church Russian Orthodox. He describes an experience quite frequently: the believer clings to his God, as Stratton supplications, prayers, petitions, in the firm conviction that God in front of a silent and grimly shut the perimeter, secure of his omnipotence. In fact, if prayer is a dialogue (not for nothing that involves "You" addressed to God), requires a response. And the answer may find a gap only if we leave a space, open, available, the fact of silence.

said a French writer: we often we complain because God does not answer our questions, really, are we not to listen to his answers. A woman Metropolitan Bloom had suggested: "Set aside fifteen minutes each day, remaining sitting knitting in front of the face of God will never be able to pray to God if you do not really learn to shut up and enjoy because of the miracle of his presence, to stand face to face with him, even if you do not see. " And 'from this seemingly idle oasis which blooms the meeting, which comes from contemplating the inner vision, the silence is real careful that blooms the secret voice of God

DEAR FRIENDS ...

few months ago I was given a seedling maple. I planted, treated, medicated when he was injured by the gardeners. The autumn colored leaves. I love that you even contemplate ...

During this time I struggle to be faithful to my blog, but this does not mean you should cut off this initiative. I know there are people who read it, not only in Italy, so I like to keep this link.

I am sending this message that I find funny, is not without humor:

"Yes, even in paradise there are theologians. You must also give them the opportunity to verify person up to that point, you are wrong. If not, it would be unfair. Everyone should have his chance, theologians, like everyone else. And to them will be forgiven much

because it will be very wrong ... "(G. Mouel).

Best wishes!

Milena Velba Milk Jugs

DEAR FRIENDS ...

has been almost two weeks since the last meeting. Commitments and even a bit 'of ... laziness has kept me away from blog. In this period, the activities have been intense, both at the training center and out. I went to Alexandria for a two-day training to a group of people interested in be part of an aid to the sick. The course will continue in two other weekend. On that occasion I also met my brothers and nephews who live not far from this city.

Our Center hosted a gathering of leaders (photo) of Camillian Taskforce, an international organization established by the Order Camillian some have done with the aim of promoting early intervention in areas affected by natural disasters. The action of this Committee may rely on the presence of camilliani in many developing countries, where there have been many victims of earthquakes and floods. Some of our students have spent a few days of counseling in Abruzzo for activities report with the aid of the victims of teremoto familier, in collaboration with Caritas national and regional levels. Now we are developing training programs to prepare potential volunteers who wish to respond to the needs of victims of natural disasters.

I leave you with a thought of Peter the Venerable. It is not very gay from the human standpoint, but rich in spiritual values

" The day I die, the prior, whoever he is, give all the brothers, both in the infirmary and refectory The menu of the day larger and more solemn, that good bread, beans, fine wine fish among the largest and tasty. On the same day will be
offered a hundred poor bread, wine and meat .

How To Relive Gall Bladder Attack

DEAR ...

Greetings from Rome, where I am a few days. I'm giving a course to a group of religious trainers from various countries. The course is in English, the idiom that I have pretty well. In the back seat of the course I made a stop in the Church of Jesus . My surprise was to attend a performance of great charm. It was in fact presented in the brief life of St. Ignatius Loyola. The text was very simple sandwiched by classical music (corali. ..) and accompanied by lighting alternated in various sectors of the chapel dedicated to St. Ignatius. Towards the end of the performance, the church was fully lit so it could cover all the details. A triumph of color that made me hold my breath. I fed long moments of beauty. Just an experience like this to ease the strain of long hours of instruction, which are very rewarding.

I greet you dearly.

How Long Will Pain Last After Acute Pancreatitis

DEAR FRIENDS ...

Before praying Compline and go to sleep, I send you this beautiful text of Prime Mazzolari: Help to be "

In the other one does not enter as a fortress, but as enter into a forest
in a beautiful sunny day.

It needs to be affectionate to those who enter as an entrance for those who leave to enter,

from pariah of, respectively, fraternally.
You enter a person not to possess it, but as a guest,
with respect, admiration, veneration

not dispossessed, but to keep him company,
to help you better know each other, to give awareness of forces still unexplored,
to give a hand to be fulfilled, to be himself.
Until next time ...

Was Queen Elizabeth Beautiful

DEAR FRIENDS ...

Today is the feast of St. Francis. I like to remember this holy returning a page of "secular breviary" by G. Ravasi.

One night he heard Francis one voice: "I'm dying." He was a monk who was moaning. Francis asked him what was wrong: "I'm starving." "Soon, all standing. Prepare a meal for all at once. It should not be a brother die of hunger, but even that feels embarrassed to eat alone. "One night snack austere, no doubt. Stale bread, rape camps, perhaps the eggs ... What else? Water from the stream. Joy for dessert ...

(Julien Green)

was the night between 3 and 4 October 1226, a Saturday, and after having blessed his brothers, Francis of Assisi was blowing the Porziuncola. We remind ourselves this holy dear to all mankind through a "foil" derived from the biography St. Francis, God's Jester (1984), written by one of the greatest French writers of the twentieth century, Julien Green (1900-98). The fineness of the true holiness is all that attention to not humiliate the hungry monk.
Hypocrites would, yes, given food, but by sitting around, standing, almost greed to compassion, while they could flaunt their rigor intact inner discipline. Francis, however, is to sit all the poor canteen because the love and respect for others must prevail over any compliance or ascetic practice. We know that this was the behavior of Christ, "glutton and drunkard" in the eyes of its judges arrogant and Puritans, it was ready to stay at the same level of sinners and the least, is not aware that the man must be a slave to the rule but the rule should be helpful to man for a more authentic life and serene. The weakness must be supported and healed,

unreported and humiliated.

How To Master Bat Good For Guys

DEAR FRIENDS ...

'll join you this morning with the thought of St. Augustine, who underlined the difficulty of penetrating the human heart:

"If the depth is an abyss, we feel that the perhaps man's heart is an abyss? Men can talk, we can see them through the actions of their members, we can hear them in their speeches, but which one thought it penetrates, but in which the heart is investigated? "

When you succeed, even if briefly, to exceed the threshold into the heart of a person, open horizons unimaginable ...

The guardian angels accompany you and make sweet day.

Hiv After Month And A Half

DEAR FRIENDS ...

I spent the weekend in Alice Bel Colle, my hometown, where I baptized one of my pronipotina, named uncommon, but beautiful: Marilide. It 'was a happy occasion to meet my family and spend some nice time and add valuable innova note of God's love life consists of the birth of a new being. I saw the joy shine in the eyes of parents and grandparents.
I found consenting's invitation for a ride to the hills of Monferrato, cloaked in vineyards that, after the harvest, they are embellishments of the autumn colors. Enzo Bianchi, in his book of memories "The bread of yesterday," describes this natural spectacle: "The vines, stripped of ripe grapes, without failing to tell the love of the land and the man who cared Veva wisely, so dressed in their Sunday best, reflect the colors that an impressionist painter's palette was borrowed from them, the yellow leaves of Muscat, the red Brachetto purple, the purple of Dolcetto, Barbera of those ancient green ... Why pay describe a vineyard at the end of October, so changing the sun or shade, shifting between the autumn mists and clouds looming: Yes, in the autumn leaves are most beautiful flower. "
I leave for your consideration this beautiful scene: " A child asks his mother: 'What is God'. The mother hugs the chest and asks, 'What do you feel?' "I love you" the boy says. And the mother, "Behold, this is God."

Can I Infect My Dog With Herpes

DEAR ...

month intensive clinical pastoral education coming to an end. As in previous years, this year there was a day of leisure spent on the mountains of Verona, with a visit to the shrine Madonna della Corona (photo), and on the shores of Lake Garda. The beautiful temperatures helped make the walk pleasant and cheerful company.
I leave you with the message contained in a written entry that I found a csa of spirituality:

"Quicumque entertain, egreditur melior" (those who enter - in this house - it comes out better). Applies to homes, but especially for people, is not it?

What Do You Think About Car Auctions

DEAR FRIENDS ...

I'm back to you with the latest news from me. This week has been busy off-Verona. " On 15-16 the past have been spent in the province of Frosinone, in the diocese of Anagni, and precisely in a State of Ciociaria, Trevi nel Lazio (photo), steeped in history and natural beauty. I animated a two-days for the priests of the diocese, on communion in the sanctuary of the report (together with the bishop and priests). Helping participants to make a journey of growth I have had the opportunity to further reflect on the beauty and the difficulty of human relations, tools needed for each person who wants to live well and help others to live well.

On the 17th I went to Aviano in the province of Pordenone, in a hospice from the original title "Road to Christmas", where within a day of study, I entertained the large group of partecianti elaboration of mourning.

In these three days of absence I have given the group, which is following the intensive course in clinical pastoral education to employees.

As you see, is rotornata intense activity Camillian Training Centre, which came into full programs of the new fiscal year with the three-year courses of professional and pastoral counseling.

I leave you with a thought of Pascal , which helps to admire the beauty of nature without forgetting the limits:

"Nature has perfections in order to demonstrate

that it is the image of God

and defects to show that it is just an image .

A hug.

Vegas Table Decorations

DEAR FRIENDS ...

In recent weeks, my blog entries have been quite rare. Many reasons: travel, commitments teaching ...

The weekend that I animated in Andria - "The Pursuit of Happyness " - has elicited many reactions from the participants. All colored by positive feelings.

reflection, and above all sharing on the theme of happiness have released the potential that exists in the hearts of my friends from Puglia (photo: click on photo to enlarge), as well as my own, provoking the desire to communicate some particles ...

In meetings such as Andria maybe they realized how much he writes Jean Brun

Each itinerary is an authentic look

to the hidden pronfondità:

when we look at who is watching us,

we do not we just look at his eyes,

we look in his eyes, going

beyond what is visible.
